I'm going to try this one more time even though, at this point, I'm figuring most people who still have this journal friended don't actually look at it (as it hasn't been updated in 4 months ;)).

Hey guys!

Just wanted to let you know about a change to how you can view the Photo-a-Day. Up until now, I've been posting the photos both on typepad and here in Livejournal... I'm trying to streamline things a little, so, I'm just going to be posting on typepad, but, also syndicating that blog here. It really appears exactly the same and will look like it does here (you see the photo and everything, not just a link) ... you just have to unfriend this journal and subscribe to lisasphotoaday instead.

ETA: If you could unfriend this one when you read this (even if you choose not to subscribe to the feed), that would be great... that way I'll know people have seen this info and I'll be able to decide how many times to repost it. ;)

A couple of days ago, I switched cubes at work. And, well, you know... nobody likes change... and I can cop to the fact that I've been whining like a baby about it. Today, though, I looked out the window, that was *behind* me before... and finally saw the glass as half-full. :)

Went to see a band tonight... I'll consider it practice for this weekend. ;)

It's hard to tell from this picture, but, it was definitely *not* sunny in Florida today!

Had a great walk with Christian today... from 14th Street over on the west side down and around Battery Park and then over the Brooklyn Bridge and down the Promenade in Brooklyn Heights. Late lunch at a little diner and then home. :)

As I was getting ready to leave work today I was just struck by the sky... this is my favorite part of the day. :)

Since I was still in LA for another day after the walk, my friend Kelly suggested we go try to get some bears signed at the Flightplan premiere. Hell yeah! We met up around 4:00 (actually, 4:30, by the time I got unlost and did a 37 point turn to get out of a windy little road with a towtruck blocking it :P) and went about finding a good spot by the barricades. There was some confusion because of the line for the Jimmy Kimmel Show, so, we had to move from our spots to ones a bit less desireable, but, it turned out okay... we were right by where everyone was getting out of their limos. We didn't get all the autographs we wanted (no Jodie Foster or Peter Sarsgaard), but, we DID get Sean Bean (YAY!!), Mickey Dolenz, Brenda Strong and Erika Christensen. It was a blast!

After the walk, I took a shower and nap and then Christian and Chad and I took a drive up to Malibu where we checked out the beach and wandered around a bit. After, we drove back down to Santa Monica and hit the pier where we had some dinner and played some pinball and video games. :)

There's always a little bottle neck at the beginning of the walk... as everyone sets out and we haven't really spread out yet. It's a little annoying, but, it's also pretty cool seeing so many people moving en masse for the cause. :)

Christian and Chad and I went to check out the Disney Concert Hall today... this sculpture is in a public garden space there. I was trying to take a picture and this little boy's mom was telling him to get out of the way, but, I told her to let him stay... he was adorable!

Got to LA today for the 7th Avon Walk. Settled into the hotel and then drove to Marina Del Ray to pick Keely up for some dinner. We wandered to the beach first and watched the sunset. :)
